Funny Movies?
I watched Bravo's "100 Funniest Movies" last night. (Interesting how their Web page calls it the "100 Funniest Movie Moments," when the show was clearly called "100 Funniest Movies." Hmmm...communicate much?
Anyway, I thought it was an interesting show, but 4 hours?!? Couldn't they have pared it down a bit? I'm still trying to look for a list, but they don't seem to be posting it. A little searching I've done seems to indicate that some people aren't completely happy with the list. I saw some things on the list I didn't necessarily agree with, but, whatever. You have to take these "lists" with a grain of salt.
OK, I found a list, thanks to the good people posting at Television Without Pity. I have reproduced the list below, and added my own links to the movies @ IMDb.
(My apologies for all the whitespace before the table. Blogger appears to insert white space that is directly proportional to the size of my table, or something like that. Please scroll down a bit, whilst I try to figure out how to remove said whitespace. Thank yew.)
UPDATE(s):
A couple points. Yes, that's the remake of "Father Of The Bride." Having not watched it that far, I assume "The Producers" was not talking about the remake. (OMG, they're remaking "Revenge Of The Nerds"?!?) The entire "Police Academy" series made it to the top 100?!? "South Park" at number 5?!? (*sigh* Grain of salt, grain of salt, grain of...)

- 20060531 - I've identified the whitespace problem, for those of you that are interested. I have Blogger configured to put a "break" or "<br />" tag in my posts everywhere I have a newline. Well, since I was trying to format my table nicely, I was putting my "<table>," "<tr>" and "<td>" tags on separate lines. But then Blogger was sticking in these "<br />" tags, which was not a good thing to do. That explains why the amount of whitespace seemed directly proportional to the size of the table, eh? Solution? Place a comment, beginning (<!--) at the end of every line, and terminating (-->) immediately at the start of the next line. I'm happy, Blogger's happy, and (hopefully), you're happy.

well you'll be glad to know that Eric Casillius (you wouldn't know if i spelled it wrong, anyway, so i just guessed) filled in for Dan Patrick (that's spelled right, I'm pretty sure) on ESPN Radio today, and he was talking about that particular list. I know, with your love of sports, you'd be happy to hear it.
As for the list itself...I have a lot of funny movies to watch, apparently! I haven't seen a LOT of those. Caddyshack and Animal House included...
