My friends are doing it, so why not conform? I will not promise the sort of blog dedication I seem to be seeing from them, however, so don't expect much. Just a way for me to "fit in." No, strike that - a way for me to organize some thoughts. (There, that sounds better...)

Oh, by the way...I just wanted to state that the opinions expressed in these posts are my own. Not my family's, not my friend's, not my workplace's, and certainly not yours. (Well, I should clarify that by saying any similarity to the opinions of the people or groups detailed above is purely coincidental.) Do ya' get it? Don't come down on anyone else for the things I say! (Sheesh!)

New Term?

I've decided to try and "coin a phrase." Ever heard of Google Whacking? (Also see Google Juice.)

So, I am thinking of a similar (useless) past-time, involving querying blogspot's, (or a similar blog-host's), blogger's interests, looking for interests found on one and only one blogger's list. For example, search blogspot for blogger's with an interest in conforming. As of 03/18/2006, you'll find only one match in Richie McWhite. (OK, so that's probably a bit "falsified.") Then, search for losing money. As of 03/18/2006, you'll find only one match in Tre Till Death. (I think you get the picture.) Anyway, the easiest way to do this, (for blogspot anyway), type "http://www.blogger.com/profile-find.g?t=i&q=" in your browser's Address field, (without quotes), following the last equals sign with the string(s) for which you are querying, replacing spaces with plus signs. That is, to find blogger's whose interests included "cartoons", you'd type "http://www.blogger.com/profile-find.g?t=i&q=cartoons" in the address field. To find those with interests including "watching SpongeBob," a truly admirable interest, by the way), you'd type "http://www.blogger.com/profile-find.g?t=i&q=watching+SpongeBob" in the address field.

Now all I need to do is think of a term to capture the mood. Any suggestions?
